Anchorage was a blast (as you can tell from my posts over the past 2 weeks) and I'm excited to go back FOR GOOD in just over a month :)

Going Home...

Today is my last day up here :(

Actually, I'm anxious to get back to Seattle because I'll be back up before I know it and there is SO MUCH STUFF to do between now and August 7th. Like, I made a list, and if I sleep between now and then - it will be a miracle.

At least I have a lot to keep me busy so the time will pass quickly! 35 days to go! I think once I pass the one month mark it is really going to hit me - and hopefully kick my butt into gear.

Well...I woke up this early so I could go have a LOST-a-thon with Aaron, we're trying to finish season 2! I also have to unpack all the winter clothes I brought up and maybe get our closet painted? Time to get moving!

Summer for a Day

Aaron joined my Aunt, Uncle & I for dinner (fresh caught Salmon!) before work - then I went to my cousin's baseball game and enjoyed the sunshine and took pictures, since I finally remembered to borrow Aaron's camera for taking pictures outside the condo :)

Victory is MINE!

Aaron accidentally splattered a drop of paint onto the duvet cover while hammering the lid back on the can (yes, I know we shouldn't have left it on the bed while painting in the room...) - so I consulted my mom to make sure I was using the correct water temp and threw it in the wash. After the first run, it had somewhat come out, but had also spread to a few other places. So I threw it back in, this time with a pre-soak first, and after a second spin through the washer...no more stain! Huzzah!

This is also the duvet cover that has a slight tear in it from being knifed by the UPS guy...We've only had it a couple weeks and it has been through so much.

The bathroom and office we'll probably save for after the wedding - we could do them in the next few days, but we'd rather spend that time hanging out with each other and my family and celebrating the upcoming holiday!

Since yesterday ended up being clear, sunny & a nice 65 degrees out - I took a walk and also got a few pictures of the mountain view we have from our back deck! It is so gorgeous up here!

Awake

I've been getting a bit of a sinus thing lately and woke-up needing to blow my nose - and now can't get back to sleep.

Half of the bedroom is painted and it looks pretty nice! One coat seems to be covering really well, there are some small blemishes but we won't need a second coat, just some touch ups. My wrist & arm crapped out on me so I'm giving it a rest for a bit...I may try to go back and finish it tomorrow (err - later today) with Aaron after he gets off work. I actually started it last night while he was at work and could've finished, but it was pretty late and our bedroom is back-to-back with the bedroom of the adjacent condo. I could hear our neighbors rustling around & snoring - so I'm pretty sure they'd hear the paint roller. So I stopped and then woke up the next morning with a really sore arm, that post-work out kind of ache.

Anyway...I should get back to bed, people wake up awfully early around here and there are lots of loud boys.

And is it really July already? Next month...weeeeiiirrrd!
